Simple Salted Caramel Brownies

Ingredients

200g Cocoa King Dark Chocolate Compound
100g Cocoa King Dezan S8 Cocoa Powder
180g Unsalted Butter
250g Cocoa King BS Caster Sugar
100g Cocoa King BS Light Brown Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
120g Cocoa King Balmoral Plain Flour
½ tsp salt
250g Cocoa King Luxury Caramel (50g Extra for drizzle!)
100g Cocoa King Milk Chocolate Chunks
Optional: 50g Cocoa King White Chocolate Compound (melted for drizzle)

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan). Line a 20×20cm tin.

Melt the butter & dark chocolate compound together

Combine both sugars together & mix into the butter & chocolate mixture, then add the eggs & the vanilla extract

Gently fold in the cocoa powder, flour & salt

Spread half batter in tin → add a layer of the caramel → sprinkle the milk chocolate chunks on top → cover with the remianing batter

Bake for around 30–35 mins (until the edges have set & the centre becomes fudgy)

Allow to cool fully

Drizzle with the caramel or the melted white chocolate compound - or both!

Slice up & serve!
